A young wanderer, never staying in one place for long. A long, winding journey took her to the little town of Saint-Joel-De-Nulpart, where she currently stays.
To tell the truth, it’s hard to get a good handle on her! Mélodie can appear so aloof.. And you notice the glean in her eyes, or she asks a question that betrays that, all along, she was paying attention to every word.
Not one to talk much about herself, she prefers to learn about people as she goes, perhaps to dream up different pasts for herself…

Likes: Stories of heroes from far-off lands. Scorpions. Rising to the challenge.
Dislikes: Rash decisions. Sour food.
Born into a family of talented mages, but never quite reaching their level, Alexis was disowned at a young age. This experience led him to believe that one can only truly rely on oneself.
Since then, he’s been offering mercenary services here and there. Rather than trying to improve his skill with the Gift, he instead focuses on strategy and agility. This approach has already led him to many victories, despite his young age.
His asocial behavior has also gotten him into trouble many times. He thought of a solution for this, too: he now wears a grin at all times, softening the blow of his curt remarks.
Béatrice Caro

Likes: The warm summer breeze. Exploration. Connecting with people.
Dislikes: Indecisiveness. Saying goodbye.
Béatrice used to travel the world with a healer, the two of them taking on odd jobs along the way. The ribbon she wears on her arm is a symbol of their friendship. As a curse spread over all of Mirama, however, she embarked alone on the journey to find a solution.
The only Gifted member of her family, she downplays its importance. Instead, she valorizes experiences that can be shared with anyone, such as physical training. Her earnest, cheerful personality does wonders to reassure people who might otherwise see it as pity.
Uneasy with solitude, she’s always on the lookout for reasons to keep herself busy, or people to strike conversation with… Much to Alexis’ dismay.
